Bio

Daniel Glenn received his MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, where he won the Lipkin Prize for Playwriting. His musical swingset/moon, co-written with Alexander Gemignani, was a finalist for the National Music Theatre Conference and the Richard Rodgers Award. Residencies include the Atlantic Center for the Arts and Texas State University. He is the recipient of an Idea Capital grant and the author of Romeo and Juliet Revised, published by YouthPLAYS.

In Georgia he worked for years with Performing Arts North, the non-profit educational theater company he co-founded in his hometown. Daniel broadened the company's mission to include pieces like The Vagina Monologues as well as experimental plays from local writers. He has also taught for multiple summers at the Georgia Governor's Honors Program and assisted acting classes at SUNY - Westchester Community College.

Daniel has written theater reviews for Show Business Weekly, and wrote film reviews for years at film-forward.com. As a performer, he has been seen at La MaMa, Dixon Place, The Brick, American Dance Institute, Theatre Row, Theatre for the New City, and The New Ohio, among other venues.
